It’s July 31st. This might be an ordinary day for muggles, but for those in the Wizarding World, it marks the birth date of the Boy Who Lived: Harry Potter. I have been a die hard Harry Potter fan since birth. I can read the series and watch the movies a billion times, buy ridiculous Harry Potter gear, and act like I have powers for days. Who wouldn’t want to go to Hogwarts and ride a flying car?!?!?!!!

3,500 school counselors from across the nation descended upon Los Angeles for the American School Counselor Association Conference this July 14-17. Filled with exhibitors (like us!), keynote speakers, and informational sessions, there was plenty to do in this four day convening. Hey, my name is Jay KC. The moment my brother in law brought me with him to work, I knew I wanted to become a pharmacist. My whole life I was interested in sciences. From learning about the three states of matter to learning about how enzymes are a catalyst for many reactions and cell signaling pathways. Science has never been swayed away from being my passion. Fast forward to now, the only things I love, besides the obvious family and friends, are sneakers and science.

I am Vera, a senior from Worcester Academy.
Senior year is always the busiest during high school. Being an international student is even more challenging. SAT and AP exams are not enough.
